From the days of BBS...

Well, I guess almost... (Lord of the Red Dragon, LORD, or Usurper anyone?) but yeah, after visiting craigslist from suberfantacularizzle, I encountered a reference to www.archive.org. And damn, that site is just awesome! So many things are kept on record, including major sites from '96! That Wayback machine is just so fucking neat. The earliest archived Yahoo! page still had the submit your site - heh, I remember those days when all the engines were like "Submit your site here!" There were lycos, infoseek, hotbot, and the google of the time, alta vista... According to it's faq, "The Internet Archive Wayback Machine contains approximately 1 petabyte of data and is currently growing at a rate of 20 terabytes per month." [1 petabyte = 1,125,899,906,842,624 bytes (in binary prefix)] Damn, I need to find me LORD...
